Return mobility and Smart Cities in the era of AI
How can AI help us rethink mobility, universities and the cities around them?
On 11–12 November 2026, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM) will host EUonAIR event on Return Mobility and Smart & Green Cities in the Era of AI.
The event will bring together interconnected EUonAIR priorities:
Return Mobility - exploring how the knowledge, skills, experiences and networks gained through international mobility can continue to create value after students and staff return to their home institutions and communities.
Smart & Green Cities - examining how AI and stronger university–city collaboration can contribute to more sustainable, inclusive and innovative urban environments.
By connecting mobility, higher education and urban innovation, the event will open conversations about how knowledge and experiences developed across Europe can translate into meaningful impact back home.
