Universitat CEU Abat Oliba represented EUonAIR at the European University Association Annual Conference, contributing to discussions on university cooperation, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration in Europe.
Universitat CEU Abat Oliba participated in the Annual Conference of the European University Association (EUA), one of the leading forums for higher education cooperation in Europe.
Hosted by Yeditepe University under the theme “University cooperation in changing contexts,” the conference brought together university leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss the future of collaboration in education, research, and innovation within an evolving geopolitical landscape.
CEU UAO was represented by Swen Seebach, who actively contributed to the conference programme. During the session “Bridging sectors, boosting innovation: why cooperation matters in R&I,” the university presented its strategic vision and highlighted the role of European University Alliances such as EUonAIR in strengthening cross-sector collaboration and innovation ecosystems across Europe.
The discussions closely aligned with EUonAIR’s mission to reinforce cooperation between universities and external stakeholders, promoting joint approaches to research, innovation, and societal impact.
Participation in the conference also provided an important opportunity to expand institutional networks, exchange best practices with European partners, and explore new collaborative initiatives supporting EUonAIR’s long-term objectives.
As a significant outcome of the event, Swen Seebach received an invitation to collaborate with the Research and Innovation Unit of the European University Association, recognising the strategic relevance of CEU UAO’s contribution and its alignment with the broader goals of European university cooperation promoted through EUonAIR.
