EUonAIR at Berlin Conference
On June 16–17, the French-German Conference on European University Alliances took place at Humboldt University in Berlin. EUonAIR was represented by HTWB, Heilbronn, and ESSCA, alongside participants from the French and German ministries, the European Commission, DAAD, HRK, KMK, CNRS, and others.
There was strong support for the introduction of European degrees. University alliances were recognized as key drivers of the “union of skills,” with micro-credentials seen as a first step and joint degrees expected in the coming years.
It was also shared that nearly 50% of German and French students already study at universities within European alliances — a strong base to grow from.
