EUonAIR at International Scientific Symposium by JAM
Today, on June 17th, we had the pleasure of participating in the International Scientific Symposium organized by the prestigious Journal of Management Analytics (JMA), hosted by Kozminski University in Warsaw.
The central theme — "Analytics, AI in Intelligent Manufacturing" — brought together leading researchers and professionals to explore the future of data analytics and artificial intelligence in modern industry.
As part of the symposium, Konrad Sowa (Product Owner MyAI University from our WP6) presented his latest research:
GEARS – Generative AI Employee Readiness Survey.
The study sheds light on how employees are adapting to GenAI, focusing on:
📌 Familiarity and frequency of use
📌Job insecurity and data anxiety
📌The need for human oversight and staying "in the loop" when working with AI
A key takeaway from Konrad’s presentation: Active, hands-on experience with AI tools is the most significant driver of adoption readiness — far outweighing passive familiarity. This insight emphasizes the importance of practical engagement for empowering employees and building true AI competence in the workplace.
Konrad also introduced the EUonAIR European University Alliance Consortium project to our international guests — including a delegation from China — and shared updates on the development of MyAIUniversity.
Events like this highlight the importance of global dialogue in shaping the responsible, intelligent application of AI.
