EUonAIR Connects with Students and Industry at the University of Piraeus Career Days 2026
On 2–3 June 2026, the EUonAIR European University Alliance participated in the University of Piraeus (UniPi) Career Days 2026, one of Greece's leading university employability and networking events, bringing together students, graduates, employers, public organizations, and key stakeholders from across the country.
Hosted at the University of Piraeus' Themistokleio Complex of Nikaia, the two-day event welcomed more than 40 companies and organizations, creating a dynamic environment for dialogue between higher education and the labour market. Through a dedicated EUonAIR information booth, UniPi representatives of the EUonAIr engaged continuously with visitors, showcasing the EUonAIr's vision, activities, and opportunities for students, graduates, and external partners.
The event served as a significant dissemination and external engagement opportunity for EUonAIR, enabling the Alliance to reach a broad audience beyond the academic community. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the European Universities Initiative, the Alliance's commitment to fostering ethical ai integration into higher education, international collaboration, sustainable innovation, and skills development, as well as the benefits of participating in a transnational European university ecosystem.
Throughout the fair, EUonAIR representatives exchanged ideas with students seeking international opportunities, employers interested in future-ready talent and university-business collaboration, and stakeholder organizations exploring potential synergies with EUonAIr. These interactions reinforced the importance of strengthening connections between higher education, society, and the labour market while increasing the visibility of EUonAIR among diverse stakeholder groups.
The participation of the University of Piraeus in Career Days 2026 represents a valuable contribution to EUonAIr's social impact objectives. By promoting EUonAIR within a major national employability event, the University of Piraeus further strengthened EUonAIr's presence within the wider socio-economic ecosystem and supported its mission of building meaningful bridges between education, innovation, and society across Europe.
