EUonAIR Migrants Empowerment Program

๐ŸŽ‰ We are delighted to announce the results of the EUonAIR Migrants Empowerment Program!

After a competitive evaluation process, 10 outstanding project teams from across the EUonAIR Alliance have been selected to receive funding and implement innovative initiatives based on the concept of social remittancesโ€”the transfer of knowledge, skills, values, and good practices from migrants to their countries of origin.

The selected projects address a wide range of pressing societal challenges, including:

SAFE-AI Dignity Lab: A Migrant-Led Micro-Toolkit for Responsible AI, Digital-Financial Safety and Civic Resilience in Afghan and Peruvian Community Pathways

Each funded team will receive support to develop projects that strengthen education and civil society while fostering meaningful transnational knowledge exchange through migrant-led initiatives. The Program funds up to ten multidisciplinary four-person teams, each receiving a grant of EUR 20,000 to implement their projects.
