EUonAIR Presented to HTW Berlin Academic Senate
The EUonAIR European University Alliance reached an important milestone at HTW Berlin this April, as the alliance was officially presented to the university’s Academic Senate by Prof. Dr. Katharina Simbeck.
The presentation addressed members of the Academic Senate, including the university’s President, Chancellor, Vice-Presidents, and representatives of professors, administrative staff, and students. It highlighted the increasing importance of European University Alliances and positioned EUonAIR as a key driver of internationalisation at HTW Berlin.
The session focused on the alliance’s mission and its strategic relevance for the university community. Key topics included an overview of the partner universities and work packages, the introduction of the virtual campus MyAI University, and the various opportunities available for students and academic staff to participate in international teaching, learning, and collaborative initiatives.
The presentation also showcased how EUonAIR is already being implemented at HTW Berlin through concrete activities such as joint Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) developed together with partner institutions across Europe.
Presenting EUonAIR to the Academic Senate significantly strengthened the alliance’s visibility within the university and increased awareness of its objectives and activities at all institutional levels. The event marked an important step towards embedding EUonAIR more deeply into the university’s structures and expanding collaboration and engagement opportunities in the months ahead.
