EUonAIR Strengthens Collaboration with Smart City Expo World Congress
On 5 February 2026, within the framework of the European University Alliance EUonAIR, and under the leadership of Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, a cooperation agreement was formalised with the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC). This initiative is aligned with the university’s new Centre for Technological Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (CitIA) and EUonAIR’s commitment to responsible and sustainable urban innovation.
The agreement followed a strategic meeting with Ugo Valenti, Director of SCEWC, to explore concrete collaboration opportunities for the upcoming Smart City Expo World Congress 2026, to be held in November. As part of this collaboration, Ugo Valenti will be presented as a candiate for EUonAIR’s Advisory Board, strengthening the alliance’s connection with leading international urban innovation ecosystems.
This partnership reinforces EUonAIR’s mission to foster innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and meaningful engagement between universities, cities, and society, contributing to the development of smart, inclusive, and sustainable cities across Europe.
