EUonAIR x EURES: Embedding My Mobility in Real Advisory Practice
Within the cooperation between EUonAIR and the EURES network, Prof. #IzabelaGrabowska, leader of EUonAIR’s Holistic Mobility Support (WP5) delivered a 3-day executive education program for European Employment Services from across the EU focused on #RETURNMOBILITY, working hands-on with the My Mobility - Your personal explorer of mobility potential and experiences
The goal was very concrete:
· test usability in real advisory settings
· verify functionality from a practitioner-job advisor’s perspective
· assess how effectively the tool can be embedded in everyday EURES counselling work
This was not a theoretical discussion.
EURES advisers worked step by step with the tool, simulating counselling conversations with mobile citizens and return migrants. We focused on how the assessment captures:
· psychological capital
· human capital, including AI exposure and use
· social capital
· economical capital
Competences that are often difficult to articulate, yet highly valuable in the labour market.
The feedback? Very strong.
#MyMobility was recognised as:
· a powerful instrument for increasing awareness of personal resources
· a structured framework for naming and evidencing soft skills
· a particularly useful tool for return migrants navigating reintegration
Most importantly, the workshops confirmed that the tool can be successfully integrated into the daily workflow of EURES services. It strengthens counselling by structuring reflection and supporting evidence-based conversations about skills and positioning in the labour market.
Mobility is not just movement.
It is capital.
