Exploring the beauty of Croatia, one destination at a time!
As part of the International Summer School – Powered by EUonAIR, our international students spent an unforgettable weekend discovering two of Croatia's most iconic destinations: Zadar and Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Their journey began at Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia's most spectacular natural treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, lush forests, and scenic wooden pathways, students enjoyed a guided walk through one of Europe's most beautiful national parks. Along the way, they learned more about the park's unique ecosystem while taking in the incredible landscapes that attract visitors from all over the world.
The adventure continued in Zadar, where they explored the city's charming Old Town, walked along its centuries-old stone streets, admired Roman and medieval landmarks, and discovered the unique blend of history, culture, and Mediterranean lifestyle that makes the city so special. From historical monuments to breathtaking coastal views, students experienced the vibrant atmosphere that has shaped Zadar for generations.
