HTW Berlin Celebrates Europe Day 2026 with EUonAIR Awareness Campaign
Driven by an initiative of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), universities across the European University Network (EUN) celebrate Europe Day each year on May 9 through a range of activities promoting European cooperation, mobility, and international engagement.
In 2026, HTW Berlin participated in the initiative for the first time, organising activities designed to raise awareness of the EUonAIR European University Alliance and the international opportunities available to students.
As part of the celebration, HTW Berlin launched a dedicated social media campaign on Instagram and LinkedIn highlighting the alliance’s mission, activities, and opportunities for European collaboration. In parallel, an information booth was hosted at the university’s Treskowallee campus, where students could learn more about studying abroad, international exchange opportunities, and participation within the EUonAIR network.
The initiative aimed to encourage students to engage with European higher education opportunities and to strengthen awareness of the benefits of international academic cooperation from the early stages of their studies.
By joining the Europe Day celebrations, HTW Berlin further reinforced its commitment to internationalisation and to the values of collaboration, mobility, and innovation promoted through the EUonAIR alliance.
