Publication in Harvard Business Review
The EUonAIR Alliance is proud to celebrate the publication of a new article in the prestigious Harvard Business Review, co-authored by Professor Aleksandra Przegalińska, together with her colleagues from the EUonAIR Alliance - Tamilla Triantoro, Leon Ciechanowski, Konrad Sowa, and Anna Kovbasiuk - and Richard B. Freeman of Harvard University.
Published under the title "Does Your AI Have a Personality Problem?", the article demonstrates the international research excellence fostered within the EUonAIR Alliance and highlights the growing contribution of its researchers to global discussions on the responsible development and governance of artificial intelligence.
The authors examine an increasingly important question for organisations adopting AI: Does the way AI communicates matter as much as what it can do?
Their research argues that an AI system's personality and interaction style are far more than cosmetic design choices. Instead, they influence how people collaborate with AI, affect trust and workplace stress, and ultimately shape organisational outcomes. As AI becomes an integral part of everyday work, these human-centred design decisions should be treated as governance and leadership issues rather than purely technical considerations.
