BCN Digital Challenge

The Entrepreneurs Club of Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, in collaboration with the EUonAIR team, presents the 14th edition of the BCN Digital Challenge, an entrepreneurship competition open to university students from across Spain and international students from universities that are part of the EUonAIR alliance. Groups of 4-6 students are encouraged to develop innovative solutions to today’s urban challenges.

This year, the BCN Digital Challenge will focus on improving urban life through technology, inclusion, and sustainability. There are 3 categories, 2 in Spanish and 1 in English, and one challenge will be assigned to each category. The proposed challenges will be designed in collaboration with local NGOs, bringing real social and environmental needs into the heart of the competition and encouraging solutions with a tangible positive impact on cities and their communities.

The official challenges and participating organizations will be announced soon, followed by the opening of registrations (February 2). Once registered, student teams will be able to work over the course of two weeks to develop creative, feasible, and impactful proposals, supported by online mentoring and guidance from a professional advisor.

The finalist teams will present their projects at the final gala on March 26th in Barcelona, where a jury of experts from the entrepreneurial, social innovation, and sustainability ecosystems will evaluate the proposals. Participants will also benefit from tailored mentoring sessions to refine their ideas and pitches.

The event will conclude with networking opportunities in a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, reinforcing the BCN Digital Challenge as a meeting point for young talent, innovation, and social commitment.
