Izabela Grabowska Presents EUonAIR’s Vision for AI-Driven Universities at EUNIS
We’re proud to share that Izabela Grabowska, our WP5 leader and co-author of the EUonAIR project, delivered a powerful keynote at EUNIS reshaping how we think about higher education in the age of AI.
Representing Kozminski University, EUonAIR European University Alliance Consortium, and Link4Skills / L4S, Izabela presented a forward-thinking vision of the European university as an immersive, AI-driven ecosystem, where research, learning, and civic engagement intersect to develop 21st-century leaders. 🌍🤖
Her slide titled "My reasoning" structured this vision around six key challenges:
🔹 AI & Teaching: Why education without a strong research foundation is no longer sufficient in the age of artificial intelligence.
🔹 Transformation of European Universities: AI, mobility, and virtual universities as catalysts for future-oriented education.
🔹 Immersive Technologies: New tools enabling active, mobile, and inclusive pedagogy.
🔹 Horizon Europe & Inclusion: AI as a support system for ageing societies and the demographic transition.
🔹 Research + Education: A strategic fusion to be promoted among academic and policy decision-makers.
🔹 Open Futures: How can we collectively move forward in the face of these challenges?
Moderated by Isabel Gallin from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), this session opened up crucial pathways for reimagining the future of European higher education.
