Magdalena Gawrońska Highlights EUonAIR’s People-Centred AI Implementation
As part of the EUonAIR European University Alliance, a panel discussion entitled “Strategic AI Implementation in Organisations: From Vision and Culture to Effective Change Management, Tool Selection and Integration” was presented to showcase the alliance’s approach to responsible, human-centred adoption of artificial intelligence.
The discussion addressed AI as a strategic organisational transformation rather than a purely technological upgrade. It emphasised that successful AI implementation depends on engaging people, fostering a supportive organisational culture, and managing change in a structured and transparent manner. Particular attention was paid to the role of leadership in building trust, addressing organisational concerns related to AI, and ensuring alignment between technological change, institutional values, and long-term strategy.
The panel also focused on the transition from AI strategy to tangible results. Panelists discussed effective approaches to selecting AI tools, integrating them with existing organisational systems, and identifying early “quick wins” that provide clear proof of value. These early outcomes were presented as essential for building organisational confidence and securing sustained commitment to AI-driven transformation.
Magdalena Gawrońska, Manager of the Holistic Mobility Support Center, represented EUonAIR among the panelists, focusing on practical approaches to implementing AI within organisations. Her contribution addressed how AI can be effectively integrated into everyday organisational processes, how teams and leaders can work with AI in a structured and responsible manner, and what key risks and challenges should be considered when deploying AI solutions, including issues related to governance, ethics, skills gaps, and organisational readiness.
In addition, the panel served as a practical guide to AI implementation within the EUonAIR framework. It addressed how organisations can initiate their AI journey in a structured way, avoid costly implementation pitfalls, and select technologies that maximise return on investment while remaining aligned with the responsible AI principles promoted by the alliance.
Through this panel, EUonAIR demonstrated how strategic, ethical, and people-centred AI implementation can support organisational resilience, innovation, and sustainable development across higher education institutions and their partner ecosystems.
